Still more on the Christmas theme...the Invisible Adjunct reluctantly confesses that, try as she might, the old Rankin-Bass stop-motion production of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, which lurked so large in her childhood memory, turned out to be "embarrasingly unwatchable" when she put it on for her husband and child (who, wisely, ignored it, instinctively recognizing that other Rankin-Bass stuff must be much better than their Rudolph nonsense, which is true).
